Rachael Sauders

I am the High Fives! transitional kindergarten teacher. This will be my second year teaching at NCCA. I received my elementary teaching degree from Geneva College and my Reading Specialist certification from Slippery Rock University.

Teaching at a Christian school brings me great joy because I love revealing God to my students and how He surrounds us in our world and in academics. My philosophy is to thread God’s love for us throughout the curriculum and our classroom environment. Everything we learn about makes way more sense when we include God’s perspective. Through prayers, devotions and Bible stories my five-year-old students know they are very special, loved and created by God for an amazing purpose.

Outside of NCCA, my husband and I have two young children, a daughter and a son. We attend New Life Baptist Church, where we are involved in several ministries.
