I am a first grade teacher at NCCA and I’ve taught here for the past three years. My prior experience includes seven years of teaching second grade in Virginia. I am certified in Elementary Education and as a Reading Specialist, I enjoy finding out what’s new in the field of reading. I am also certified in Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory learning. I am married and have two children enrolled at NCCA.
I enjoy teaching at NCCA for many reasons. We begin each day in prayer and we pray for one another. We praise God and thank Him for our blessings no matter what the size. I enjoy being a part of this experience with my students every day. Being able to incorporate Biblical values in the classroom creates a unique atmosphere where learning can take root and flourish.
